This page is a living document. Cairn Builders is built on continual improvement. As I gain experience, listen to homeowners, complete projects, and improve my processes, this page will continue to evolve.
Why this website exists
Most homeowners can see what a contractor built. Far fewer can see how a contractor thinks — how decisions get made, how problems get handled, what happens when something goes wrong. That is the part that matters most, and it is almost never written down. So it is being written down here.
Built in public
Cairn Builders is a young company, and this site says so plainly. The policies, the standards, and the open questions are all published as they are worked out. Projects live on social media. The thinking lives here.
This will keep changing
This is Version 1, published early on purpose. Sections are still empty. They will fill in as the work teaches me what belongs in them, and every change will be dated.
